On Saturday, October 5, 2019, this year’s “ORF Long Night of Museums” took place throughout Austria for the 20th time.
The exil.arte center of mdw was pleased to be part of it for the first time this year and offered guided tours of the current exhibition as well as special program items. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

SPECIAL EVENTS throughout the ORF Long Night of Museums <\/strong>

1) Concert: Echo of the Unheard<\/strong> (6:30 pm)

Julius B\u00fcrger (1897 \u2013 1995)<\/strong> – Streichquartett Nr. 2
Hans Winterberg (1901 \u2013 1991)<\/strong> – Streichquartett 1957\/1970

WISE \u2013   Wien International Soloists Ensemble<\/a> will bring works of these forgotten composers back to life.

3) Concert: From the Lower East to the Upper West Side<\/strong> (10:30 pm)

Music from the Jewish Theatres and Viennese Caf\u00e9s in New York in the 1930s and 1940s. Esther Wratschko and her ensemble (Andrew Gorman & Lili Weihandl) will perform songs by Leopoldi, Berg and others<\/p>\n\n\n\n
