Henriette Engelke, MA
Henriette Engelke completed her master’s degree in musicology with a thesis on the Jewish exile composer Joseph Beer and is currently doing her doctorate on film adaptations of operas. She was employed as a student research assistant, tutor, library/archive assistant, and predoc university assistant at the mdw and the University of Vienna and as a research assistant in several FWF projects on music criticism and film music. She is a Fellow of the Vienna Doctoral Academy, specialist editor at Kunstform/sehepunkte, and (co-)organizer of various scientific and artistic events.
