With: Ulrike Anton, flute, Christine Roider, violoncello, Rafal Morzyczki, piano; WISE – Wien International Soloists Ensemble: Édua Zádory, violin, Andrea Nikolic, violin, Marta Potulska, Anzél Gerber, violoncello; Irene Suchy, Moderation. Irene Suchy begleitet den Komponisten Michael Graubart, der zum Konzert nach Wien kommen wird, auf seiner Reise in die Vergangenheit und spricht mit ihm über seinen musikalischen Werdegang sowie über seine Werke. Weitere Interviewpartner sind Gerold Gruber, Leiter und Gründer von exil.arte, sowie die Flötistin Ulrike Anton, für die Michael Graubart komponiert hat.

Hugo Kauder: Concert & Book Presentation (Böhlau Verlag) within the Exilarte Book Series 

As part of this concert, Irene Suchy will speak with the author Karin Wagner, who has presented the first comprehensive book on life and work of Hugo Kauder. Together with Karl Warner (Hugo Kauder Society), this outstanding personality will be examined as a composer, teacher, musician, music theorist and philosopher. Examples from Kauder’s extensive work – he wrote over 300 compositions – complete the picture of this versatile person.
